On Thursday, April 28, singer Jimmy Buffett will perform a private live benefit concert for the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Naval Air Station Pensacola, and Alvin Townley will be on hand to mark the launch of his new book, FLY NAVY.
Buffett's concert and Townley's book both celebrate the centennial of naval aviation and are part of a larger year-long celebration taking place across the country.
Buffett, who has a well-known passion for seaplanes and who is a strong supporter of military personnel, will perform along with bandmates Mac McAnally and Robert Greenidge.
The following week, on May 5th, Townley will return to NAS Pensacola to keynote lunch at the Museum's Centennial Symposium, an event open to the public. A book signing will follow.
