Alvin visited Colorado Springs, Colorado, to address the Pikes Peak Council's 2011-2012 class of Eagle Scouts.  He met with families and Scouts before a major dinner at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.  After dinner, he delivered a keynote address and drew a raffle ticket belonging to one new Eagle Scout, who won an aerial tour of the moutains with Alvin in a helicopter genenerously donated by local supporters. 

The following morning, he addressed current Scouts and parents who were working toward the Eagle Rank, encouraging them to work hard adn work together to advance through Scouting's ranks.
